Hypospadias is a congenital shortening of the urinary duct in the penis, with the end of the duct opening somewhere on the underside of the penis. Because the foreskin is also missing on the underside, these children are also called “half-circumcised”.

Born in 1969 in Hatay. I completed my primary, secondary and high school life here. I completed the Faculty of Medicine at Trabzon Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. I completed my pediatric surgery specialization training in 2002, which I started in 1996. Then my academic life, which I started at Düzce University Faculty of Medicine, lasted here for about 10 years. During this time, I had the experience of Chief Physician as well as Pediatric Surgery Clinical Responsibility. After that, I worked at Sakarya University Pediatric Surgery Clinic for about 7 years, where I had clinical responsibility as well as Chief Physician experience. Then, in 2019, I worked at Istanbul Health Sciences University Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital for about 4 years, where I carried out Clinical Education and Administrative responsibility. In these processes, I contributed directly and indirectly to the training of many assistants. On the other hand, I contributed to the increase of knowledge, etiquette and experience of many pediatric surgery specialists. I also contributed directly and indirectly to the training of many academicians.
